Upie Guava is publicly known as the director of several Music Videos whose recent works have consistently entered the trending list on YouTube, such as: Noah, Lyodra \u2013 Sang Dewi (The Goddess), and the most recent one, Ungu \u2013 Dasar Hati (The Heart\u2019s Core).<\/p>\n
After previously directing the documentary film about the band Seventeen, which was hit by the tsunami disaster, titled \u201cKemarin\u201d (Yesterday) and was nominated for Best Long Documentary Film at FFI 2021, Upie Guava is now completing production on his first long-form fiction film, titled \u201cPelangi Di Mars\u201d, a family film set in the year 2100.<\/p>\n
This Sci-Fi genre film will be produced using a hybrid method, combining virtual and real-world shooting. To support this, Upie Guava is utilizing XR (Extended Reality) technology, a technology that integrates a combination of human-generated and computer-system graphic interactions. In addition to being set in the year 2100, and true to its title, much of the film\u2019s story will take place on Mars.<\/p>\n
The preparation undertaken by Upie Guava is extensive; he has been researching the necessary elements to support this film since the beginning of 2020. The shooting locations for \u201cPelangi Di Mars\u201d will combine sets within a studio called DossGuava and several real-world locations.
